The tenants association has done nothing to help.

 

Ever absent from the issues that effect the daily lives of the tenants the BVPTA has become just a sorry extension of VERTICA PROPERTY SERVICES. For too long now the tenants have had no representation from the BVPTA. Leadership has fallen silent in the major issues taking root at the site. All leadership seems to be able to do is hold annual Christmas gatherings, and pass out cookies in an effort to placate the tenants, but yet has not met to discuss or get input from the tenants in important issues. Tenants want the board that, while volunteer, should, if they are not willing to perform their duties with SOME interest resign the posts that they were elected to. It has come time for some responsible leadership, and some accountibility. Simply said the tenants wish that all members of the board step down if they cannot or do not wish to perform the duties expected of them. Cease using the appointments as an excuse to socialize and or conduct your own personal business.

 

Above Limit Rent Increases.

 

Tenants are facing above limit rent increases and want to know, "FOR WHAT"? The BVPTA is once again silent, totally absent from the issue entirely. One tenant asked if the association were still together as literally nothing has come out in the way of fighting the increases. No reply came from the association in an e-mail sent for a response towards some of the concerns.
